Credit Reports & Bureaus

By creating an account, accessing, or using Credit Resources (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rent Cred Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 160 Quarry Pk Blvd S E Suite 300, Calgary, AB T2C 3G3, Canada.

Credit Resources is a credit education platform designed to provide users with tools, resources, and information to help improve their credit knowledge and financial literacy.

Our services include:

• Credit education resources and materials
• Budget planning and financial management tools
• Credit dispute assistance and templates
• Credit score simulation tools
• Secure document storage (Credit Vault)
• Access to affiliate loan, credit card, and mortgage offers
• AI-powered credit education chatbot

Important: Credit Resources is an educational service. We are NOT a bank, direct lender, credit counselling agency, law firm, or financial advisor. We provide educational tools and access to third-party financial services but do not provide financial, legal, or professional advice.

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your province of residence to use this Service.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Subscription Fee: Access to Credit Resources requires a paid subscription of $20.00 CAD per week, billed automatically.

Payment Authorization: By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method on a recurring weekly basis. You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.

No Trial Period: We do not offer a free trial period. Payment is required from the start of your subscription.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our subscription fees with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support at support@creditresources.ca. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not share your account access with others
• Not attempt to circumvent any security features of the Service
• Not use the Service to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or illegal content

Credit Resources partners with third-party lenders, credit card issuers, and mortgage providers (“Affiliates”) to provide you with access to financial products and services.

Important Information:

• We may receive compensation when you apply for or are approved for products through our affiliate partners
• We are not responsible for the products, services, or decisions of our affiliate partners
• Your interactions with affiliates are governed by their own terms and privacy policies
• We do not endorse or guarantee any specific affiliate products
• Approval and terms are determined solely by the affiliate partners

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and educational materials, are owned by Rent Cred Ltd and are protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or exploit any content from the Service without our express written permission.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

Rent Cred Ltd, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content or information
• Credit score changes or financial outcomes
• Decisions made by affiliate lenders or credit bureaus

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months prior to the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms or applicable laws
• Is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
• Involves fraudulent or illegal activity
• Compromises the security or integrity of the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from termination of your account.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Calgary, Alberta, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
